1). it's never been "broken" so no repair needed.  - NO mods either.  - Performs and sounds even better than it looks.
2) High quality packing materials and plenty of it will be used to ship the pre-amp.  -  You may be able to contact  BAT  and ask them to sell you a box their name printed on it.  McIntosh and B&O offer boxes for $40-$100  for folks who are unable to properly pack their gear.    I know how to pack  very well. 
3) I'm looking for. I also have an Arcam FMJ - C31 w/ the optional phono board , and remote.   THIS unit has the Factory Box, Packing and Manual, etc.   9.8/10
I may post a separate listing for this but here's a sneak preview...  Under a grand SHIPPED!  the remote is still sealed, and the phono board is also NEWLY installed.
