Wonderful sounding line stage preamplifier in excellent condition. This preamp has bested much more expensive preamps one on one. You will be very happy with it. Stereophile high class B- noted for rich, natural sounding midrange that realistically conveys voices.
The PV12L gives a warm neutral sound. It doesn't "flavor" the sound in any exaggerated way that I can tell. It does offer excellent dynamics and clarity. What can I say? "It just sounds right."

Like its predecessor, it featured zero feedback circuits, and passive equalization in the phono stage. For the PV12, critical plate resistors are a special laser-trimmed metal foil type chosen for their extremely low noise and low inductance. The balance control is an eleven-step switch incorporating discrete resistors.
The PV-12L is a line stage version of the PV-12 without the phono section. You will not be disappointed in this preamp.
