Nakamichi built the PA-7 under license from Nelson Pass (or they bought the license), it had overheating problem, this is Nak's improved version and they called it PA-7II. Some Audiophiles swear to the sound of the original PA-7 being better than the PA-7II, but I don't believe it, something that could overheat is not a very good design.

I had that amp years ago.  Very nice build quality.  Sounds good for a solid state amp.
