I'd like to replace the glass panel in the doors to my TV stand with cloth or fabric. Signals from remotes for BD player, AVR, etc. would need to be able to pass through. I'd like to buy locally so I can complete this over the weekend - are there any local stores anyone is aware? Parts express has two types however I want black and the reviews say the color isnt even black, and the other one they had may not pass IR.

Canvas or burlap should pass IR.

I am sure you can find the stuff at local craft, fabric or upholstery places.

I would think that traditional grill cloth would work fine.

Thanks for the replies. There were no IR issues with the glass I just didnt like the way it looked, and there are enough hard surfaces in the room as is. I picked up a small roll of canvas fabric from Micheal's and it works very well.
