New VSA website and marketing direction
« on: 5 Jun 2014, 06:46 am »
I am very pleased with the changes - at least I could find some up-to-date information on the website :-)
Announcement of direct sales (if dealer is not available), 90 days in-home trial and peer-to-peer (if I could use this term) auditions/demos by existing VSA owners are great steps to bring a new wave of younger customers to the brand.

It may be just the beginning, but definitely a very welcomed development.

Hello Fellow Audiophiles,

I am pleased to announce that we have designed and implemented a new website.  Please visit and let us know how you like this beta version.  We are also pleased to announce that we now have additional personnel to make weekly updates to the NEWS PAGE, an approach to keeping you in touch with our latest developments in speaker design, upcoming shows, recent awards, and other relevant topics.

If you visit our Facebook page, accessible from a little blue widget box on the upper right side of the NEWS PAGE, you can read even more information about all of our new projects, see additional photos, and other interesting developments.

If any of you have purchased the Absolute Sound's new coffee table book ($129), you will have noticed that I am featured on page 245.  Mr Robert Harley, one of the four writers who contributed to this Illustrated Guide To High End Audio, wrote a very flattering Bio of my career and lifes work. If any of you would like to purchase a copy  autographed by Robert Harley and me,  email me at albert@vonschweikert.com to get your copy. We bought 20 of these beautiful books for our customers. To see some of the 645 photos and see the speaker companies featured, please visit TAS online for a video taken in Mr Harleys sound room where he shows the book, page by page, in a summary of the contents.  In my humble opinion, this is the most complete and interesting book on the history of audio available!

If you have any comments or suggestions that would improve our new website, please don't hesitate to post your comment here.

Happy reading!

Hello JAB,

We will introduce an all-new speaker at RMAF.  Priced under $40,000 the new model (unnamed as of now) promises to be a winner. It's a smaller version of our popular VR-9 and should please the most descriminating music lover seeking a system costing less than $100k.  Many of the "9's" features will be retained except for the size.

The new model will be shown prior to RMAF on our all-new website. Stay tuned!

Albert, then the new "baby 9" will be my last speaker!  I WILL then be attending the RMAF this year!  Can't wait to hear more details on this speaker system!  Best,  Jack
