I was experimenting with an Electrocompaniet ECD-1 and happened upon a new mod that really improved the dynamics. It turns-out that this mod can be applied to the P-3A DAC as well, since it uses the same chipset.
This mod can be added to any Turbomod P-3A DAC for $75 plus shipping. It improves the dynamics from top to bottom and adds more weight to the music. My wife says it adds more air as well. I'm calling it the "DAC Dynamics mod". Really worthwhile. This will improve the sound even if you are using the I2S interface or a P-1A together with the P-3A.
The cost of adding it to a DAC that I'm already modding is fairly small, so I will probably not raise prices on the Turbomod, but retrofitting the mod is more trouble, and includes before and after testing and packing/unpacking etc.. so I must charge for it.
