James I thought I would ask you and others about position of speakers. A long time ago in the last century I got a speaker demo. I think the store at the time was Kelly's on Granville street. In the sound room both speakers faced each other firing from the walls to my left and right. Being so young I thought is was cool. I believe I bought a Sansui receiver 70 per channel RMS. I don't ever recall setting up speakers like this facing each other like in the demo and I bought Sansui speakers as well.
Today was surround sound and so forth, speakers along the side walls sort of face each other. And in stereo do any speaker companies continue to demo speakers the way they did in the last century?
