I grew up on the Brill Building sound. Great song writing with Goffin, King, Cynthia Weil, Barry Mann, Neil Sedaka, Howie Greenfield, Jeff Barry, Ellie Greenwich, Jerry Leiber, Mike Stoller. Plus producers Don Kirshner and Phil Spector.

Me too on the movie and I'm not a big movie girl.

It seems like with the exception of the Beatles and some other English groups, the Beach Boys and Motown, just about everything else came out of the Brill Building.
