Up for sale are my pair of PSB Image B25 stand mount speakers.  Stands are not included.  These are the top of the line for the Image bookshelf models.  Fantastic sound and one of the best under $500 monitors you will hear.  They are in very good shape with no sound issues whatsoever.  They sound fantastic.  They easily outperform many bookshelf classics like ADS, Advent, EPI, EPOS, Dynaco, Energy, JM Reynaud and Paradigm of similar size and price when new.  Why buy vintage speakers that have been seriously eclipsed by the PSBs.  By buying these gently used speakers you don't have to deal with dried out crossover caps, beatup cabinets, broken grill clips, poked in tweeters or disintegrating woofer surrounds.  They are in very good shape with no sound issues whatsoever.  I am the original owner, purchased in late 2009, and they have been used in my home office system and now in a small tv system.  Selling only because I am downsizing to one tv system.

There are a few visible flaws on the finish of the speakers.  A few light and small scratches on on the side of one of the speakers.  And a slight ding on the top edge of the other.  See pics for these imperfections.  I did not take pics of the bottoms but they are pretty much perfect. I will add those later today. These speakers sound and perform like new.  I will ship with the original packing materials and original box.

Shipping to the lower 48 states will be paid by the buyer.  PM me with zip code for cost.  Sales to US buyer only with Paypal verified address in the US.

See the Stereophile review:

"In my first listening sessions, it soon became apparent that I was hearing several things in the Image B25's midrange that I'd never heard from a bookshelf speaker at this price, or from any PSB speaker at any price. The entire midrange was dead neutral, liquid, and holographic—but when this was combined with an extraordinary level of detail resolution, perfectly articulate transients, and a broad, continuous, organic presentation of the entire dynamic envelope, the overall sonic picture inspired me to strip-mine my music collection for well-recorded acoustic instruments."

"Paul Barton has once again upped the ante on what he can design into an affordable loudspeaker. Although it's been several years since I heard and reviewed his Image 4T, I can't recall a single area where that older, more expensive speaker outperformed the Image B25—it impressed me in many areas and let me down in none. I can't think of a single other speaker for less than $500/pair that outperforms the PSB Image B25. Congratulations, Paul!"
