Chord really got it right with these. All the musical fidelity that you’d expect from cables if this quality and price, and with very quiet background--One listen to these and you’ll realize what noise-magnets most speaker cables are.
Note that these are very stiff cables, so even though they each measure 5-ft, the effective range is less. I had my speakers about 6.5 ft apart with amplifier right in the middle and that was the maximum practical span.
The cables are unterminated. It’ll take some DIY skill to solder on the connectors, and more DIY skill with heat shrink to make the cables look really good. The good news is that the shield on the cables remains unconnected, so you really don’t have to worry about that.
The cables are directional, and the direction is marked on the heat shrink on the cables. Extra pieces of heat shrink are included, though you may want to start fresh with new heat shrink.
