This is an 8 foot pair of Dave's Cables 14 Gauge Speaker Cables with the gorgeous Furutech FT-211/212 UPOCC Copper Spades and Locking Banana Plugs.
I think they may well be the biggest bargain in top quality speaker cables, period. These great connectors by themselves list for ~$265/set, and the wire is amazing.
They absolutely compete with the best at double or triple the price, IMO, but matchups are especially key in cabling, of course.
Conductors are made from 1060(!) strands of Neotech EC-UPOCC braided litz wires, in an oval configuration with cotton sheathing.
The sound is extremely clear, open and dynamic, with excellent image body and a very smooth top end. A very dynamic yet balanced presentation. They are also very flexible and easy to work with, a nice change from garden hose style cables which these outperform as well.
Lots of posts here about Dave's great cables; I use his DD and D3 ICs, and love them. These speaker cable have a similar sound to the D3s in my system.
I bought these from Dave about 6 months ago, so they are nicely broken in, in perfect condition.
Equipment layout changes mean these are now a bit too short.
