I'm going to keep this ad short and sweet; which is a bit of a departure for me. PMCs are great speakers, and some feel the FB1i is the sweet-spot in the line. I won't wax poetic, because there are plenty of positive reviews around; and I'm sure you know how to Google.
I'll say this: I've had plenty of very good speakers. I was a Dynaudio man for a long time; until I fell in love with the "British" sound. That means I've had Harbeth, Spendor, Proac; all the British stalwarts. All very nice in their own way; but I preferred these PMCs.
I wish I could keep them; but an imminent move cross-country, has me down-sizing...and selling-off most of my kit. These are about the last thing to go.
It's very hard, to take good pictures...of Black speakers. Here they are in my system, and I've got a couple more I will post shortly (and I can always provide more, upon request). They're in very good shape; maybe one or two, small...barely-noticeable blemishes, which I've documented as best I can. I'd say they are an honest 8; but I'll go 7 to be conservative.
Please check the long-standing and impeccable feedback (hiendpawn at audiogon), and buy with confidence. While I didn't want to carry-on, about this speakers sonic traits here; if you have any questions about them, feel free to drop me a line. I don't mind talking shop...especially if you're trying to figure out, if these would be a good fit in your system.
