Hi
Seeking advice on options to move into the music server game.
I have 2 G4 lampshades that happily handle all our computing needs but figuring that 20th century demands for on demand tv and the like need a bit more power.
Hoping to be able to continue to use and network the G4's so thinking the server is a better option.
Anyway not sure which would be better for audio, or if Apple TV would do the job.
All advice welcome.

I'd say it all depends on your setup. Do you plan to use optical out or connect an external USB DAC ?
Do you plan to use EQ or do you just need a streaming server ?
