an experiment

I bought KOSS Pro DJ200 phones. They retailed for $150 and London Drugs had them marked down to $75.  I got them in brand new box and eagerly waited to try them on my iphone4. I selected CBC radio and played and acoustic session from someone i never heard of..   I was in the kitchen cooking with the phone in my housecoat pocket and it was so clear.
2) I decided to try them in my Brystons.  KOSS sounded ok but nothing like the 'air around' the STAX SRD-6's   to play the BCD-1 . I engaged my BDA-1 and played around with it. up sampling and mono..  it was fun
I would be keen on burning a disc and trying the BDA on  a stick...   who knows when but it was fun up-sampling and stuff. But I realize I don't need overkill on the SKYTRAIN TO WORK  but for pure listening     it was NEAT to compare them

It's this kind of thing that makes audio such a fun hobby (IMO).....good for you to try different things  :weights:
