Replacement Footers for Non-Bryston Speakers
« on: 26 Mar 2014, 12:00 pm »
I own a pair of ProAc Response D30R floorstanding speakers which I will be moving from my tiled basement to my hardwood floor living room.

We recently re-did the hardwood floor and I don't want to damage it with the speaker's included spikes.

I'm looking at replacing the spikes with something like the Audio Physic VCF III DOUBLE M8 feet (recommended by a friend).

Any other suggestions?

Ot looks exactly like the feet that are included with many Ikea bookshelves. Just add some sorbothane or any other material of choice.

The most appropriate ones are the ones with the least sound to it and I suggest to look into boston audio Tuneblock S - http://www.boston-audio.com/tuneblocks.htm

The SSC pucks are pretty good but I find it soften the energy at the highs so it depends on your preference - http://www.hifi-ssc.de/Netpoint_100_200_300.htm

Hope it helps!  :)
