These APC S15 units used to retail for $1500 back around 2005.  They were highly reviewed, and I believe on a Stereophile recommended list in 2011.  Battery backup, true power conditioning, including increasing voltage when the line voltage is low.  Heavy duty surge protection as well.

There are a ton of inputs, including coax for cable, so could help out with grounding issues in A/V setups.

I got in on the Vanns blow-out sale a few years ago, and it was a fine unit for me for a while until I upgraded to an Uberbuss.  It's a shame for it not to get any use.

The above picture is powered-on, after the unit has done its self-diagnostic tests, all functioning well, and showing full battery life at estimated 3hrs - the same as when it first arrived in 2011.  The unit also has the option of installing additional external battery to supplement the main one, so this is some insurance against declining battery life as the unit ages.
