Crystal City Underground is a neat place. I did the 4k run there with some friends last year. The race wound through the mines and had through a bunch obstacles, including waist deep water. I think they are trying to develop it as an entertainment complex. They show movies, have volleyball courts, a barge cruise across an underground lake, and so on. There is even a bar.
