What's the current high-end DAC-state of NuForce - is a DAC-18 looming in the horizon, or even an updated DAC-9?
The present DAC-9 has been around for a few years now, and I wonder how it holds up against the more recent spree or DAC's. Being that it still figures as a sales item on the NuForce website I gather it translates into showing a certain confidence in named product, and that it can hold its own compared to the (younger) competition.
Myself I still treasure the totality of the sound through my setup to which it contributes (via BNC-direct input from Audiophilleo2 + PurePower), so I don't have any complaints per se. One the contrary tweaking with my computer-based source and cables has upped the level of playback quality evermore.
Still, I'd be interested in learning if NuForce have new things brewing in this department...
