Selling an extremely nice Yamaha belt drive turntable. Functionally and cosmetically in excellent condition. The only marks visible on turntable are "swirl" marks on dustcover. Turntable comes with lightly used Shure V15 Type V cartridge and with original packing materials and carton.  Asking $650 for turntable and cartridge.  Local pickup only or meet within reasonable distance of Chapel Hill, NC

Thanks for the comment.   In my opinion, the Yamaha is a very nice turntable.  I listed for sale as I haven't used it very much since purchasing it about a year ago.  I thought the price was fair and hoped I would receive some interest.  I haven't received any inquiries or interest, so I've decided to keep it and use it in a secondary system I'm putting together.

Just wanted to put in my $0.02.  I own the PF-1000 and it really is a wonderful table (basically the same as the 800).  The attention to detail in terms of build is amazing for a table that basically cost the same as a Thorens 126, Ariston, Rega etc.  Funny thing is you'd have to modify the heck out of those guys to get the performance that you get on the 800/1000 stock...
