Ha. I almost thought it was just a wire until I noticed a small bulge in the middle. Goes to show how Jolida's very early models had some production issues.

I can attest to that.  Their earlier runs were simply junk, badly made.  I bought one and returned it within the return window of J&R music world and they were trying to deny the claim.  Jolida was bad then....and even now, it lingers in my memory.

Yes, They said that they're in Brookeville, MD, but are not open to the public. You need to go through their dealer network.

If they have not moved in the last few years, they are in business with United Home Audio (a dealer) who shares the location.

Here's an old thread that talks about the connection/location (I did go there once and after about two hours one way was not impressed and spent 20 minutes wandering around looking for someone and Jolida was basically in a room connected via a big hallway to the store - wandered in both Jolida and the store, which had a couple of listening rooms, two really sick kids watching TV coughing in one of them - apparently the United Home Audio owner was in a closed room on the phone and one guy from Jolida must have been out having a smoke - spent 5 minutes after the United Home Audio guy came out - don't think he was all that pleased that I was walking around but I made enough noise asking if anyone was there to wake the dead) - http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=28730.0

Thanks Ron,  good info
Jolida should update their website... it is LONG overdue. (with regards to everything, not just the address chance)
