Hello,

For sale is my Apple Mac mini (Mid 2011). The part number is MC815LL/A, A1347
http://support.apple.com/kb/sp632

Intel Core i5, 2GB RAM, 500GB HDD. You can upgrade the RAM if you wish by simply turning the bottom to open the underside and plugging in more RAM, up to 8GB - I only used this as an iTunes audio server so I never bothered.  As is, I had zero problems with skipping or playback issues with any type of file including WAV, FLAC, AAC, ALAC. I will upgrade the RAM if you like for the cost of the RAM. A quick check on eBay looks like it's $30 for 2GB and $60 for 4GB, which means to get to 4GB total it will be $30 and to get to 8GB it will be about $120.

The Mac mini has digital audio, analog audio, and HDMI out.  The HDMI output and supports variable underscanning so you can make the HDMI output fit perfectly to your screen, regardless of model of TV or receiver.  Some PC HDMI outputs will leave a black border all the way around the screen which can be incredibly frustrating and annoying.

About two years ago I started having an issue with the built-in wireless receiver.  Sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn't.  I solved this problem by purchasing the following wireless USB adapter:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833704041&Tpk=N82E16833704041

Everything else works perfectly fine and without issue.  As an unexpected benefit, my bandwidth and latency are actually much improved with the Wireless-N USB adapter than with the slower Wireless-G inside the case. There's nothing to using the wireless adapter - you just stick it into a USB slot and you're good to go.  The adapter works 100% of the time without fuss or worry and it is included.

I'm including a Logitech DiNovo Edge Bluetooth Keyboard+Mouse Mac Edition that I used with the Mac mini.

http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-diNovo-Edition-Cordless-Keyboard/dp/B001U0WQJM

The DiNovo is an ideal audiophile keyboard and mouse combo because the keyboard and mouse are on one piece of hardware that you can use comfortably on your lap.  It also has native support for all the OS X keys.  It is also rechargeable. The Bluetooth works from 30ft away. The look and feel are awesome. I paid $180 for this keyboard when I bought it.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:
- Mac mini (cosmetically 9/10)
- TP-Link Wireless N USB Adapter (10/10)
- Logitech DiNovo Edge Mac (9/10)
- Binary HDMI 1.4 2m cable (9/10)
- clean install of the latest OS X Mavericks

EBAY COST COMPARISON
- Mac mini $300
- DiNovo Edge Mac Edition $90
- Wireless-N USB adapter $12
- HDMI cable $1

I'm asking $sold. I am the original purchaser of all items.

I did not upgrade to anything better; this was for my father who can no longer see iTunes on his TV clearly enough to be able to listen to his music this way. Everything has been used sparingly and lovingly.

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions.  I have bought and sold several items here on AC (just search the Trading Post) and have feedback on Audiogon and eBay as well.  I prefer PayPal if you are also Verified, otherwise I am open to Chase QuickPay, Google Wallet, etc.

I will take any reasonable offer as long as it's reasonable.

Thanks!
