I think that blog piece is right on point. Nothing compares to the level of songwriting and arranging on that album

I'm already tired of the links to your blog showing up in all these different posts.

That's what makes America great. Click on posts you can enjoy and positively contribute to (mine or otherwise), and recommend the rest to those who are open.

Didn't you already know that?

See, I'm definitely a really big help to you if that wasn't totally obvious already.

Otherwise, stay with what works for you. That's what being in a community is all about.  :thumb:

Agreed.

Threads should not be initiated that are purely links to the private site of the AudioCircle member.

And inserting self-promoting links into existing threads is equally spammy. There are numerous examples of this member simply crashing a thread and posting a link to his blog without adding any original input to the AudioCircle thread. This is not always the case, but has happened on several occasions recently.

I would hope the forum moderators take action, or else AudioCircle is just going to become a blog spam free-for-all.

Also, the financial interests bear scrutiny. Although many blogs are just private space to write up opinions, many others generate revenue through ad placement, link-through to vendors, and editorial content subsidized by industry interests. When a blogger goes to the trouble to push his site aggressively on a forum like this, all of those possibilities should be investigated. If the blog generates income, then the member should adhere to the requirements for industry participants.

Mindful and in general agreement with the comments against self promotion, I found the OP's link to commentary on Revolver very interesting.  If by chance the OP gets a little more traffic on his site, so be it: the synopsis obviously took time and is of value - thanks!  Having said that, I haven't read, nor can comment on other posts by the OP, and perhaps I be nicked off too if I had!
