CL alert for LPs in West County

Peter is his name and a real good guy.  LPs seem to be in fantastic condition; at least the ten that I bought are.   :thumb:  I snared a Sinatra/Count Basie/Quincy Jones LP.   :hyper:

He also has some vintage gear, including a couple of 70's Pioneer receivers.  I told him about AC so look for him to learn the secret GAS handshake one of these days/

I went to Peter's yesterday and picked up some nice LPs.  Highly recommended!

thunderbrick, you spoke so highly of AC when you were here that I had to join.  :D
The CL link does not work, but the LP's are re-posted there, and more are being added.
Thank you for the very nice posting about my vinyl.

Since so many of you guys helped me give my last batch of albums new loving homes, I wanted to give you a heads up that I have pulled another almost 500 LP's for sale out of my collection. More classical, classic rock, jazz and some eclectic and obscure stuff to. Lots of imports that I bought in Europe in the 70's and 80's. The albums are in CLEAN condition this time too. This time my soul, funk and disco collection goes too. Get the leisure suits out and boogie! :)

I went over yesterday to pick up another couple dozen records. If you go over there, ask to see Peter's LP playing boom box.  This is a small little turnip with a slide out turntable.  Battery powered!  Panasonic if I recall.  Cuter than a bug's ear.

I'll have to find a way to pick some of these up.  Have to say, thankfully, my funk/soul/disco LP collection has been growing at an accelerated rate since moving to STL!

Guys, I hate to be a bad influence, but I have added another 400 ish albums that have not been picked over yet.
Lots of (but not limited too) classic rock and classical in this batch, but some obscure and eclectic stuff like train
and other sound effect albums, my 4 album box set of Tolkien‎ reading his works, and by popular demand,
some more of my European 1970's Disco albums are also up for re-homing. Boogie down!! :)

Thanks Peter.  So far every record I got from you breaks clean and leaves me with a lump in my throat.

I went out to Peter's again yesterday.  I want to put in a good word for him because he represents an opportunity that shouldn't be missed.  A lot of music that one doesn't see everyday.  Among my purchases was Glenn Gould/Beethoven and some Brahms choral music.  Both were very clean and quiet--better than new, and he says there is more stuff on the way.

Gabe, thanks for the glowing review. My 45's sure went to a good home :)

I have just un-boxed another 400 ish albums and added them to the for sale stack.
Lots of Classic Rock and Classical this time, but Folk and Jazz in there as well.
They are in the same nice condition as the previous batches of course.

Anyone out there with Lee Hazelwood albums to trade?

But wait, there is more, as they say in the infomercials :)

I have just sorted out another large batch of LP's. A lot of rock, soul and classical this time.
They are in the same nice condition as before, and still bargain priced.
Come by and clean me out please.
