If you can find someone on the other side of the border to take delivery (they only ship to the US), there is this site:  http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/DENAVR1312/DENON-AVR-1312-5.1-Channel-A/V-Home-Theater-Receiver/1.html
Hi Phil A and all Audio Circle members.
Thanks Phil.
I have three relative in USA that can receive for me and re-ship.

Guy - you can get a basic 5.1 refurb for $130-$140.  After my upcoming move, I'll probably be getting a couple for spare rooms where I don't want to spend lots but just in case I need the features it's there.

Hi all Audio Circle members.
Most of you Audio Circle members are used to
and read from time to time some stupid questions on this site.
Well, here's another one.
Two channels stereo home theater receiver are almost extinct
and are more rare.
Most manufacturers have only one stereo model in their catalog.
If your home theater source is only a 2 channels,
what do you do if you have one of those 7.1 or even 9.1 receiver?
Do you have to put an 8 Ohms resistor on each of all the other channels
that you don't use ? ? ?
Well, now that I think of it,
my question is not so stupid, it's only ignorance.
Therefore, I am an ignorant.
Answer me and make me smarter.

I agree with the feedback here. If your receiver can let you selece two channel configuration, I would go for it. My pio elite sc-65 can go upto 9.2 channel. I don't have that many speakers and my set up is 5.1. When I set the receiver up, there was an option to select an option to allow 5.1 and I did which works for me. In fact, i have a dedicated amp to drive two front channels, hence the receiver is driving only three speakers. No issues what so ever that i can tell. It works great. hope this helps.
