Hello from PA

Hello folks,

Just want to say hello, I'm a thirty three year old musician who has been turned into a hifi head by a friend. He has a pair of Klipschorns with a Cornwall center channel, supertowers for rears and some polk floorstanders for sides. I was so blown away by the fact that he could "put me in the room" with amazing musicians that I immediately started building my own surround system. However mine is a little different than most, because I have been getting into doing live sound for about 7-8 years (also influenced by the klipschorns) my system is built from live sound speakers set up in my living room, no I'm not married, but I am engaged so, I don't know, we'll see what happens . I have bought a few things from my friend I mentioned when ever he upgrades, like my projector and my Pioneer VSK92TXH 7.1 reciever, the auto calibration in the reciever is amazing. I also use a Presonus StudioLive Digital mixer and a Driverack 260 for my live sound rig, but I don't use it in the home theater, the Pioneer calibration suits my needs there for now.

This is actually a pic from over a year ago, but it will give you an idea, the L/R are Turbosound TMS-1 speakers that are very rare and awesome IMO

My living room is all wired up separately so that I can just unplug the speaker and take them on the road and then bring them back and plug them right back in without too much hassle. Although in the summer time I'm just too busy gigging and usually don't get the entire surround sound system put back together then, but that's OK, it's good to keap busy. Thanks for reading!
