I don't know very much about this at all -- other than it turns on. It was my fathers and he is longer here.  I was directed here by a former college of his. I'm told the retail price  was $3,000 can anyone confirm this?

I am open to any offers. Please PM.

Hi deweyafk,
I moved your post here as it looks like you are trying to sell them.

Have you thought about setting a system up and using them?  I see you have them listed on Agon.  Perhaps the former college can hook them up and verify that they are working...you will probably get a higher selling price.

BTW, you will need to make one more post in the general circles to be able to reply to this thread.  I would do that soon.

Why not list your approximate location?  That could make them attractive to nearby audiophiles.  One of them might even come over and help you evaluate condition/operation/tube value.    If in the STL area the GAS guys might even hold a GTG at your place.

Just took a look at your Audiogon ad.  Do you only have one of the monoblocks?  Or are you hoping to sell them separately?  Monoblocks should be sold as a pair.  You'll get nearly no interest if you try to sell them separately as no one wants to risk only winning one of the auctions and being stuck with a single.  Retail price of $3K could be right but that would be for the pair...not a single.  If you have a pair then a current market value of $1,200-$1,500 sounds about right.  If you only have one then I would shoot for getting only $300 or so for it.
