Let's say I make a playlist in Jriver Media center.  Now I want to listen to it on my high end stereo with Bryston BDP-1 or BDP-2.  Can either device "see" and read a Jriver playlist?

Hi Jay

No sorry JRiver is a windows operating system whereas the BDP is a dedicated Linux operating system so you can not share playlists

HI Jay, James,

Seems a bit silly not to be able to read an industry standard of playlists. Those lists can be converted to the readable m3u format in Jriver.
This http://mpd.wikia.com/wiki/Music_Player_Daemon_Browser_Stream_Setup states it ought to be very possible to read those, when mpc is installed on the system.
Would add the .pls support too, and that is the answer to my bbc3 radio stream question inhttp://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=118616.0

Have a look at it please?

Or is it compatible already?:

Has anyone actually tried/tested using

Bryston BDP-2 via DLNA
Jriver Media Center on a quality PC outputting to BDP-2 DLNA Zone
Gigabit wired LAN

I have usually found DLNA to be unreliable.  Any experiential insights greatly appreciated.
