CHEAP preamp suggestions for pair of TEAC Tripath amps

I have not tried this, but I do have 2 of these amps right now.

My speakers are only about 86db efficiency though, so I am not sure if 30w alone will do it.

I am biamping with these two, and enjoying it.

If you could give it a try I'd be very interested in the result. Much will depend on the size of your room, of course, as well as how loud you like to listen.

I've tended to favour the mono-block approach in the past (used Quicksilver mono amps for years).

Who knows, you may prefer it to bi-amping if it can work for you! Or you may end up getting another two of 'em to bi-amp both channels with mono amps :)
