Hi guys -

I've got a circa 2000 9B ST and as the subject mentions the unit has now dropped a channel again - no led is showing for channel 5. 

It's been into the local agent twice before for the same issue although I can't recall which channels dropped out.

Am I unlucky or is this an experience others have had?

My 9B ST is slightly older, 96 build I think.  No problems at all. 

Only time a red light came on was when I shorted a channel out by putting a speaker spike through the speaker wire when I repositioned one of the speakers.  Fixed the wire and everything was good.

Mine is also from about 2000. Just blew a channel a few days ago. Has done so regularly over last few years - I think i have had 6 or 7 repairs so far.
