 Serious?
I like Paula.
Much more so than the "poser" boys she raised.
Not sure what's up with those two, but their shows are pointless and odd.

But at least she's genuine.

It's about time!  For years it's been apparent that she's really despicable person, and her "recipes" make me queasy.

Seems it a racial thing based on >THIS< story.

I don't know Rob. I liked her. As far as I'm concerned, she made good TV.
Can't say I've made any of her recipes though, but I did seem to learn a bit from her.  A few techniques here and there, ya know....

Oh well. I'm sure I can find another influence for unhealthy southern cooking.

Hey!

Well, from what I've read and seen on TV about this I would say she deserved it.

Honestly I've never watch her show. I don't know... I just don't find her food and cooking style appealing, with all the butter and etc.  :?

Also, I find it funny that her son have a show called "Not Mama's Meal" where he try to improve Paula's recipes to make it healthier... no more stick of butter! And she is even in it too! A bit of hypocrite I would say.

Anyway, I'm sure she is crying eating stick after stick of butters right now.

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

I posted this as a joke, but I gotta say I don't like shows (cooking or otherwise) where everything is all tied up in the host's "schtick" and the slavish devotion of people that hang on every word of the BS they spout.

That would never happen in the audiophile community.
