I've heard some class D amps on subs, tons of power so I ordered a
MTX digital class D amp (800@2 Ohms) for my sub. I'll see how it go's.

I'm not yet sold with digital car amps driving the main speakers.

I used a Memphis Audio ST-500D D class mono sub amp for a while.  Drove 500w into my Fosgate 12, with supremely satisfactory results.  Nice tight bass in a sealed box, with effortless power.

Recommended.

Here is the correct link.

I wasn't referring to the Class D amps.  I was referring to the "True Digital Full-Range' amps.

Tech support from AudioBahn had this to say:
"The True Digital Amplifiers amplifier utilize a proprietary digital power amp IC. The IC is a single chip device implementing an end-to-end digital solution for audio applications. This chip helps provide the amplifier with an 85% operating efficiency. Because the IC operates by digital to digital PWM (Power Width Modulation) control for analog signals, it reduces noise and heat produced by the unit. The IC helps our True Digital take advantage of an extremely lower noise floor as compared to conventional amplifiers"

I noticed that the Blaupunkt PA2150 is Class T.  What is Class T?  Is Class T better than Class D?

Are the Audiobahn also Class T?
