Rock riff or Electronic riff, which do you climax on more? :P

Just listening to Seven Ways by Paul Van Dyke and there's these cool riffs. That's the kind of stuff I get off on.

I like good rock guitar riffs too! Like that one song by Tool, don't know the name off hand, I've been listening to that riff in my sleep.

Probably fire that song up after I finish ripping albums to thumb drive. 8)

Rock riffs for me.  Here's a most excellent example from Draconian:

I think the song with the cool riff is The Grudge by Tool. I put the Jewel cases away and not sure if its from Laterlus. I like 10,000 Days too.

Both. There are both electric guitar riffs and straight up synthesized that can leave your jaw on the floor. There is electronic music out right now that is just.. fierce.

Or both in one song - e.g. Daft Punk / Robot Rock. Whole song is almost all just one catchy riff. One of my all time favorites :

+1 on Draconian.  You need a mop to clean up the drool off the floor.

Tim Sult of Clutch is King Of Riffs. All must bow down before him. He throws them around like there's no end to his supply. There may not be...and they are of highest quality. Listen to the latest Clutch album Earth Rocker and partake of the true power of riffing. Let it change you...

...and yes, I can slice it even thicker than that if you like.
