Tempest factory mods...

Klaus,

You had mentioned you could do an HT bypass through either the aux or phono inputs. However, could you instead do it to the inputs of the tape loop and also change the tape out to line outs for a subwoofer? I want to use the HT bypass right away and I don't plan to use a tape component, yet maintaining both the phono and aux would be nice. The subwoofer ports are for future flexibility (no immediate plans).

How soon can these mods be made? In other words, do I need to get in the same line as the waiting list for the xtreme upgrades or can it be done quicker?

What would the cost be?

Finally, as an open forum question, I am planning to use Ellis 1801's which is why I want to add the flexibility of adding a musical sub if I feel the need down the line. How might I set it up so I can use the same subwoofer for both HT and music (two different preamps)?

Thanks!
Randy

Oh yea, Klaus, since I have your attention (hey do I have your attention yet?   ), what does the factory charge to do an HT-2 to HT-3 conversion?

Thanks again,
Randy
