For movies you have:
LT
Center
RT
Surrounds (Side, rear)
LFE - Low Frequencey Effects.

When the movie is mixed the engineers decide what goes where.
In most cases the Front LT/RT/C will contain the full 20Hz-20kHz (approx).
As well they may send a seperate signal to the LFE channel, which could be from 0-120Hz.

You tell your reciever (AVR) what speakers you have. If you choose no sub (or no LFE) then all the speakers will get the full range of sound.
If you tell your AVR that you have a sub and it is crossed over at 80Hz, and you set the main speakers as Small then the mains peakers will only get 80Hz and up (or whatever you set the xover at).

Do you have a specifc  AVR? and or speakers?

For movies, the front Left and Right channels can have roughly 25-30 Hz low content. ...Not all do though, and some, as JRace just mentioned above, can even have the 20 Hz content; including the center and surround channels.
Seldom; only very few Hollywood blockbusters, and even then. ...Like I said; 25-30 Hz is pretty much it for them blockbusters, on average.

Cheers,
Bob

Hi vv

If your speakers are set to "Large" in your Onkyo's bass management settings, they are getting the full bandwidth of the soundtrack.

cheers,

Full Band; that's the term Onkyo/Integra uses to describe speakers without engaging a crossover for the subwoofer.

* Before running Audyssey from your Onkyo 809 receiver make sure that Subwoofer is set to No.
