I have finally finished restoring a pair of Bryston 6B monoblocks, serial number 600001 and 600008
These have been COMPLETELY restored... all new power supply components, all new electrolytic caps in the amplifier sections, all new fully beta matched output transistors. These were exact matched ( no 5% tolerance ) in sets of 8 using my Sencore TF 151 transistor analyzer. I had to buy 200 npn and 200 pnp transistors directly from On Semiconductor to obtain 4 sets of 8 perfect matches. These were done right.
The distortion analysis was done on my Amber 3501 distortion analyzer. These amplifiers easily meet original Bryston specs.
They have been tested into 8, 4 and 2 ohm loads and are perfectly stable.
The minimum I will accept it $2200 plus shipping.
