AKM 5392 DAC CHIP

Hi,
Anyone has experience with this chip

Is it look like a good one for audio?

That is an A/D converter not a DAC.

Does any one know the DACS they use in RPM 44/ 88/22 units?
I heard it is AKM4356 in one forum..

You have the Rane unit don't you? Open it up and have a look ;)

John Yes I do. I opened it up. The DAC is AK4393. Just debating between getting an external DAC vs using the built in ?
