Posted: Fri Sep 17, 2004 3:18 pm Post subject: Freezer Tweak??? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi all, this is a great tweak!..... here's how you do it, put your cables, components in two trash bags and put them in the freezer for 48 hours and then put them in the refrigerator for a day or so. I have done this to everything in my stereo/video system. I took out my circuit boards out of my TV, done these.....big improvement, my satellite receiver, my Mi-Rollers, my Dakiom feedback stabilizers,my crossover speaker network and so on, everything! This is safe to do, a friend of mine has been doing this for two months now, everything working great. Do some of your CD;s first and see how you like it.................Richard
Freezer Cryoed Cables... Hi all, you can get about the effect as Cryoed treatments by putting your cables or components in the Freezer for 24 hours and then put them in the refrigerator for one or two hours.........this REALLY works!!! Try this with the cables you have now.......Try this for yourself and see if you "hear a difference"............Richard
Posted: Sat Dec 11, 2004 12:37 pm Post subject: "The Freezer Tweak" (Up- Date)??? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I tried something different that is even better now! .....First make sure the Freezer is set at the (lowest Temperature setting)..........then put your CD's, DVD's, Cables, or Components in a air tight bag and then wrap the bag in a towel and then put it in the Refrigerator for 24 hours.........then put them in the freezer for (72 hours).........then put them back in the Refrigerator for 24 hours......then put them in the coldest part of your house for 24 hours......then your ready to enjoy.............Richard
Dang! This is Deja Vu all over again.Richard's/SoundIdea's tweak seemed oddly familiar..... Then it hit me! Over 30yrs ago (when I was far less respectable) I used to put a couple of pounds of dry ice in a garbage bag, plus the component to be tweeked, and stick it in a refrigerator for a few days until the dry ice sublimated. Exactly the same, but the component to be tweaked wasn't interconnect or speaker cables, but rather a kilo of weed..... thems were the days. I too was firmly convinced that the tweak worked......Everything old is new again.

One of the more interesting legends surrounding bananas is that their skins are said to have hallucinogenic properties. Supposedly the skin contains a substance called bananadine, which when dried and smoked is rumored to cause hallucinations; this was apparently the inspiration for the song Mellow Yellow, by the 1960's singer-songwriter Donovan. Back in the 70's friends of mine, upon hearing of this proclamation, attempted this act—the only mind-altering experience they said to have had was an incredible headache. I personally recommend consumption of bananas through ingestion, not inhalation. And another interesting yet trivial "banana fact" is that Elvis' last meal was a fried banana and peanut butter sandwich, though this was most probably not the cause of his demise.
