As if Howe's guitar work wasn't enough, his new band Maragold sports a fantastic female singer named Meghan Krauss, and what a set of pipes she has.  I'm not usually into the vocals of most groups because I tend to prefer well played guitar.  But Krauss is a rare exception and gives Maragold a powerful 1-2 punch with Howe's stellar fretwork.  All that said, I'm finding the craft of songwriting top notch.  The self titled album has that rare quality of holding up to repeat listening. I'm calling it 4.5 stars.

Howe's band Maragold seems to be picking up steam in part driven by soaring popularity of singer Meghan Krauss.  Just yesterday she was ranked #12!
