Great advice as always.
All I can say is a big "THANKS" for the 3 yr journey you have always been there(first on AA then here) with good help that actually works
I will move them out and see what happens. 5 feet will be a bit much in my room but it will be an interesting experiment

A pleasure - simply giving back what I received from AA in earlier days.

Let us know how it goes.

There will also be a similar effect from the wall behind the listening area. Worst case is far away from everything, it will kill low bass. The lower the frequency of cancellation, the deeper the suck-out.

Moved panels one foot further out and got a better plot (still evaluating if it sounds better/different)

So the inside edge of the bass panels are 6ft 6in from the flat portion of the front wall and the center of the bass panels are 6ft from the center of the truncated corners

Ribbons are on the outsides because of the only 12ft width and I feel this gives me the widest image
I think this is pretty good since you are looking at 10hz to 20khz

Nobody asked me but I would tackle it from the preamp side.
Just changing tubes or cap values could get you precisely where you want to be.
It's also right around DMW territory, isn't it?

Thanks Steven
I am pretty sure this is a room problem and cannot be fixed by adding more drivers.  My system is basically flat from below 20hz to over 10k hz with a gentle roll off above that.
I have found most tube rolling only changes the character of the sound at best.  May add some extension at the extremes which I do not need.  I am most happy with what I am getting out of my system. I did more critical listening on Sunday with the Maggy's out 5 1/2 feet from the front wall.  I actually lost some depth so I need to adjust toe in (or out) AGAIN!
