I've got only 1 Symphonia 7R pair left at this pricing because they were listened to for the review. They're the current model done in exotic Macassar Ebony veneer all done by a master craftsman.... They feature solid 2" thick fronts done by precise CNC and router work as to not "choke" the woofer airflow around the cone. They have extensive bracing and are built like tanks! These use the OEM Amorphous core upgraded RAAL tweeter and 7" Accuton. Please allow 1.5 weeks after purchase for them to be shipped.

SOLD plus shipping-- SAVE!!! The finish alone is a $1200 option. No paypal fees. ONLY PAIR at this price. Read the parttimeaudiophile rave review:

http://parttimeaudiophile.com/2013/02/28/big-sound-and-the-clearwave-symphonia-7r/

This speaker has a 5 degree tilt and complex miters which are very time consuming to build.

To sum it up for only SOLD you get:

Free $1200 mirror gloss finish that rivals the best finish in the industry.

2" thick baffle with scalloped air flow around the back of the woofer for the flattest frequency response.

Phase aligned point to point wired crossover network with the wiring all done neatly under the board and dampening material to absorb resonance.

RAAL OEM pure ribbon tweeters with amorphous core upgrade and Clarity Cap MR caps in the signal path.

Air core inductors throughout and wiring by Supra to prevent oxidation problems down the road.

Accuton resonance controlled woofers.

This design is refined, refined, and refined some more. The crossover is something I'm very proud of as it prioritizes simplicity but enough components to get the job done for the best polar response possible. The impedance is a flat line and does not vary more than a couple ohms from 100hz to 20khz (minimum 6 ohms). Great for tube or solid state amplification.

A few people asked me about stand recommendations.  You'll want something around 24".  The reviewer used Reference 3A stands to good effect.

This combination with finish and hand laid Macassar Ebony veneer would be $6420, if we built a new matching pair.  Your price is $SOLD.  Just broken-in and in excellent condition.  Yours to enjoy for a lifetime, just contact me for details.

What is the max wattage these can handle? Can they be used with the Merrill Audio Veritas Amps (400w at 8 ohms, 700w at 4ohms)?

Seadogs, I can tell you a number without collecting more information from you, but it will do little for understanding the relationship of other variables such as; your room size, listening distance, desired SPL, and what type of music you'll be listening to (bass heavy or not etc.)  Send me an email, and we can go over those specifics to see if the 7R is the right speaker for your goals.  Your amplifier shouldn't be an issue if used within the 7Rs inherent characteristics as a 2 way with a single 7" driver, because your preamplifier would be used to limit power output that could lead to over-excursion at high SPL.  I had a pair of 72R paired with 1000watt monoblocks in the Wyred 4 Sound room at RMAF a couple years ago, and it did just fine because all of the above factors were taken into consideration.

Just another perspective, I can't believe that these haven't sold already given the extremely high quality of the drivers, crossover, and cabinet design!

Thanks Bill, and for your nice email.  I've had these almost sold a few times now... but they are still available for anyone interested.
