This is an FM only unit. A friend of mine replace some of the more undesirable parts in the power supply, and swapped out the stock umbilical. The parts cost was around $20.00. Lowered the noise floor a little bit, nice improvement. It locks onto, and holds station very well. It has a very nice clean sound, that may lean a little on the warm side. Detail, bass, mids, all good. Just a real nice little FM tuner. This tuner and PS were apart of a bulk shipment so there will be two boxes for shipping. The power supply has a nice padded box, but I will double box it just to be safe. The Tuner comes in a heavy duty shipment ready box with proper packing supports. The unit retailed around $800. I will let it go for $325 with split shipping within CONUS. Buyer responsible for all other fees.

this was my 1st "real" tuna.  it still sings; great sound, wery good reception, and simple, nice ergo's.  it has wide/narrow band switching, and the red light glows brighter to indicate strongest signal strength.  while the soap-2 power supply was a nice upgrade, it doubled the cost to $1850; modding the stock p/s is a less expensive worthwhile upgrade.



this is a good deal, imo, for a really nice tuna.  glws!

I've heard great things about these tuners.  Too bad I recently sold my Onix OA21s amp that would have been a beautiful match to this.
