Just have to share this....finished up another pair of Kismet ref. monitors,  this time with some custom stands.
It's about the finish,  a rare and extremely expensive  redwood burl that Gary M.  specified.  Incredible,  and he's getting a 4 tier furniture in the same wood....will post pics of that once done.

When I've heard the Kismets a few times, adding a sub never really entered my mind 

Not sure about Klaus's thoughts on this so that will be interesting.

kinda reminds me of the lacewood that was on my old Meadowlarks. Very pretty
