Just checking to be sure that Albert is gonna be at the show. Don't want to drive 700 miles to see him and then he isn't there. I know, a long ways to drive but where else are so many vendors going to gather. Anyway I'm planning on seeing Ryan/Vapor Audio either in Chicago or stop in St. Louis on my way home. I'm going to stop at Decware in the St.louis area to have a listen. Oh, and I want to stop and see Charlie at St. Louis stereo. I should have headed out this morning but some things had to be finished up first.
This will be the first time not being with my kitty's for such an extended time, 32-36 hours.

Maybe JV can put this speaker on the font cover of a future issue of TAS!  :thumb:

I have been told that magazines pay attention to what their readers want.  Advertising dollars and great products alone do not stimulate a magazine's interest; it also requires a few emails and phone calls from audiophiles requesting a certain product to be tested and ranked.

If just a small percentage of our owners contacted the magazines to request a review, we believe the mags would start to take us a bit more seriously.  (We don't lobby the mags as it might be considered to be biased and self-serving).  I imagine that most of our supporters or owners do not realize how easy it is to speak with reviewers; most reviewers are accessible via emails shown in the mags.

Happy Listening,

A.V.S.

several positive VSA critiques from the show can be found at TAS online.. Nice "wrap-up" with show pics...   It took me days after the show to turn my audio system on..  and days after that to begin enjoying my music. The 100's are something special!  Real special!! Jack

In the recent past I contacted Robert Harley through TAS and mentioned how great the VR5 Anniversary Mk2's are and how a review of these or other higher end VS designs would be appreciated. I received a very courteous reply the same day. So lets do as Albert suggests and urge the mags to review of some of more VS products.
