The old Treasure Map scam. Only blue blood, high dollar investors are given the secrets. There's always some reason for a delay in delivery of the products. Various government and/or secret organisations are plotting to squash the project. Numerous patents have been applied for, no one with any real secrets applies for patents as that's nothing but a blueprint for far eastern countries to steal your design. No peer review papers have been published. None of the various energy project prizes have been applied for.
I could go on, but you can see the jist of it. A fool and his money are soon parted. And they make fun of cable manufacturers.
