Von Schweikert VR-S1 sub not working
« on: 22 Jan 2013, 12:13 am »
One day the on light just started popping on, and there has been no sound since, tried switching the fuses etc - powering it down and back on, inputs etc

From reading a couple year old thread it seems like the sensor boards go out around 5-7 years and mine hit the 7 mark a bit ago...so it is about time

I read there is someplace in PA that can do the repair for around 150 + shipping if i take the board out myself, which I am not keen on doing

Does anyone know if anyone in the Phoenix area is familar with this repair and can do it around the same price point < $200

Thanks
Dapuma

Hi Dapuma

Welcome to the VSA circle. It is expected that new posters to AC introduce themselves on the forum so we all have some sense of your interests here. It seems you are having some issues that might best be addressed by contacting Von Schweikert directly. Have you tried this? Albert and Damon do post here but I'd recommend a check with the  company directly for some expert guidance.get contact details at: http://vonschweikertaudio.com
