Found this on my new release wall of my local Family Video...
Recommended for those who appreciate somewhat Kurosawa-esque elements of a "samurai movie" but don't fall for the cover. This is a serious film. The box cover writeup didn't do it justice... but they got me to pick it up.
An involving tale of human struggle. I was pleasantly surprised at where they took the story. On the downside I found some of the characters were a bit thin.
Give it a try, there is nothing much out there.
