Can you show the centering disk or is that in the picture?
Does this work on VPI thick aluminum platters without the disk?

Thx,

Paul

Hi Paul.  The centering disc is the "cloudy" area in the center of the ring. . .you can see the spindle hole in the center.  The disc is made of some type of rigid plastic, very sturdy.  The MR rests in a groove that runs along the circumference of the disc.

When you place the ring on an album, the disc is on top.  You then lift the disc off the ring.

As far as I know, this will work with any platter that has enough height for the brass outerweights to clear the table plinth, and/or enough room between platter edge and tonearm.
