I could use some advice on my current starter system. I have tried to move slowly and only buy pieces that were quality and I could get for a decent price. I think I am close to getting this rig up and running, but am still missing a few crucial pieces. I hope that some more knowledgeable folks can give me a nudge in the right direction...
Current gear:
Onix Melody SP3 tube amp
ELAC Miracord 50H with Ortofon OM2 Bronze cartridge
Rega (Original version) 2 way speakers
Bose 301 (version 1) speakers
ADS L400 speakers
Monster 12 gauge bulk speaker wire
Needs:
Phono Stage (I'm thinking Bugle, but wish I could solder)
Interconnects (Possibly Mogami quads from Markertek)
Music:
Classic rock, Psychadelic, Indy Garage
Any suggestions would be appreciated. As you can probably tell, I am a bit all over the place (as the speakers would show -- but I want to audition before thinning the herd). Please feel free to critique, since I critique myself on a daily basis.
My budget isn't unlimited, but I am willing to spend to get a quality item that fits with the current echelon of gear.
