Nick wanted a home theater set-up consisting of four front-ported Veracity HT2-TL's and an HT2C center channel.  He requested curly cherry with a deep rose/red dye added to the gloss topcoat.

Here is a picture of one of the pairs of HT2-TL's...

Here is a close-up...

Happy listening Nick!

The more I see the "red" speakers the more I like them.  Congrats Nick, and if this is your first Salk purchase welcome to the family!

Those are just beautiful, congratulations Nick. The more pictures I see of Jim and company's handiwork, the happier I am to be part of the family.

Last Tuesday the wait for my Veracity HT speakers ended well.  Now that everything is appropriately positioned, I'm able to share of few photos of this wonderful experience.

First, the obligatory picture of the FedEx truck preparing to offload the boxes:

Next up, the boxes staged for unpacking:

Here is an image of the front of the room:

And one of the rear:

Packing was superb; the finish of the speakers superb-er, and the sound superb-est.

I'm deliriously happy with the experience in general and this setup in particular.

Thanks, Jim!

Very nice! :thumb:

Just curious.....

I noticed it appears you have plenty of space behind the fronts; any particular reason you went front ported on the fronts?

Great question...

Two reasons:  first I wanted all four HT2-TLs to match.  Second, I originally planned for the fronts to be further back but they sound significantly better moved more forward into the room.

The decision became a no brainer when I found out that the HT2-TL design allows for front porting without any port noise issues.

I've heard enough Salk speakers.   I want the 'vette.  And the equipment cabinet.

The cabinet is a Studiotech U-22T.  Jim used a reference photo of it to color match the speakers.

Among its qualities are perforated metal panels on the doors and the sides for excellent ventilation, (relatively) easy access from front or rear, casters, and plenty of internal space with adustable shelves.  Only downsides are that its a bit pricey and require assembly.  LOTS of assembly... took my nephew and I over three hours to uncrate, assemble and prepare it for use.

Here is a picture with the doors opened:

...and thanks, Dennis, for your superlative crossovers and for substituting Platinum Sonicaps capacitors.

Check in with me the next time you're in Atlanta and I'll take you for a ride in the Corvette.
