 The band is called Here We Go Magic, from Brooklyn NY.  (You can find all of their albums on Spotify)
I also like their other albums called Pigeons and Here We Go Magic, but their newest release brings their sound to a much higher level with Nigel Godrich at the helm.
Thom heard them at the huge Glastonbury festival and declared them his favorite band at the festival. Nigel Godrich was also very impressed , and wanted to produce their next album.
The album is called A Different Ship. This album is wonderful!!! Fantastic!! Every song on the album is stellar, and they really flow together perfectly, so I recommend listening to the entire album in it's entirety.
